I am a scientist and now work as an editor. Most of my work was with applied ecology and involved fieldwork and lab work. Now, I not only manage a B2B Magazine (Wiley Analytical Science Magazine) but also other projects involving Expert Insights (eBooks, Whitepapers, Infographics, etc).
My Experience
My work as an Editor broaden my vision of what scientific publishing is.
Before I started as an Editor, during my time in Academia, I also gained extensive skills in data analysis (R programming language), science communication, scientific writing, research and proposals writing, project and time management, oral presentations, and project funding.
